Having worked with Jamie Toff and Fighting For Charity in putting on a boxing event attended by 400 guests in October 2013 I can’t recommend him or his company highly enough. We approached him 6 months prior a with desire to put on a black tie boxing night to raise funds for the charity Action Aid but with no knowledge of how to go about this. From our very first meeting we were put at ease by both his manner but also his comprehensive knowledge of every conceivable element that would be required both inside and outside the ring to put on a successful boxing fundraiser. Everything was thought of and nothing was ever too much trouble when it came to fielding additional requests or answering our many queries. The execution of the event on the night was faultless with guests who had attended many such events previously making a point of emailing afterwards to say that this was comfortably the most professional and most well produced event they had attended.
Beyond the event delivery Jamie was also an exceptional mentor, trainer and coach to the fighters. He provided them with excellent guidance and motivation throughout and ensured all the fighters reached the ring ready for the challenge but also enthused by the journey there. Beyond that he instilled a phenomenal sense of camaraderie amongst all the fighters, meaning that friendships were forged and incredible memories made on the way to the event.
Our event ended up raising 50% more than we had envisaged and every fighter, win or lose, said it was a truly life changing experience. Jamie and Brawl Street have our sincere gratitude.

A huge thank you to Jamie and his team for the work they did on the Fight School (Clashing 4 Classrooms) event in October 2013. ActionAid were proud to be the beneficiary charity at the event which raised nearly £40,000 to help build schools in Lera Town Ethiopia in October 2013. Jamie’s care and attention to the training and welfare of the boxer’s was first class, ensuring that those who stepped into the ring had a rich and amazing experience whilst raising funds in support of the charity. Jamie and his team worked seamlessly with our staff and volunteers to ensure the event ran perfectly on the night, helping us in maximise the funds we raised and going the extra mile to put on a fantastic show for 400 guests.

Some months ago a few brave (or stupid) volunteers agreed to take part in a charity boxing events for a friend’s charity. We turned up pretty apprehensive to the first training session – most of the 12 guys had never been in a boxing ring before. Jamie is a great trainer, he got the basics sorted for us very quickly. We weren’t always grateful for the fitness training at the time, but it was much appreciated come fight night. The sparring sessions were absolutely crucial to our preparation. Getting in the ring with another guy is pretty scary, but they were always immaculately controlled by Jamie.
Remarkably we were ready in time. You never forget the night itself, win lose or draw it’s a truly unique feeling and the professionalism of everyone involved; the trainers, referee, MC… and of course the ring girls all just added to the experience. I can’t recommend it enough as a sport and an experience and Jamie is about the best there is at getting you ready for this sort of event. I like to think we put on a really good show and as there were so many novices participating that is entirely a testament to Jamie’s hard work.

We asked Jamie back again for the 2nd time to run our Charity “West End vs. City Agents” White Collar Boxing event this year because he was such a driving force the year before and we knew we couldn’t do it without him.
First and foremost, he is full of energy and enthusiasm which makes a huge difference, and he is always coming up with new ideas for raising money for charity.
Secondly, his experience really shone through during this event, not just with co-ordinating the training and recruiting of the fighters 5-6 months prior to the night (which is a master class in itself), but also his efficiency in organising the event itself which always includes co-ordinating sub-contractors, venues and difficult general mangers.
Last, but not least, Jamie always has our best interests at heart. This includes ensuring the event is geared to raising as much for charity as possible, as well as ensuring that the boxers are safe during training as well as on the night. The feedback from the boxers has been superb and we look forward to working with Jamie again at the next one.

I have been involved with organising 3 events with Jamie and Boxing for Charity, following the first two we escalated Jamie’s position from organising the boxing to organising the whole event, thereby negating the need for an external events company. He is great to work with on the boxing front and our third event, with Jamie at the helm, was the most successful to date. His keen eye on costs has enabled us to raise significant money for charity and his running of the event on the evening was flawless. We will be using him in the future and would happily recommend him to any third party.

The decision to appoint Jamie to oversee and organise the event made it a very successful occasion and with hind sight we would have appointed him on our previous ones. He did an outstanding job of ensuring everything ran smoothly and the event was a major success for the Boxers, our organisations and most importantly for the charities.
